Pius Adesanmi Literarily exposed IBB’s old boy David Mark

By Pius Adesanmi Culled from SR.
"(to the accompaniment of Fela’s “Just Like That”)

David Bonaventure Alechenu Mark, Nigeria’s Senate President, is one of those extremely wealthy rogue soldiers produced by Ibrahim Babangida’s settlement philosophy. Fate has blessed him with an illustrious looting career. He has been stealing money from the Nigerian people for a very long time. When he got tired of stealing money, he graduated to loftier preoccupations: stealing elections. Thus, in one of those only in Nigeria self-destructive travesties, the occupant of the third highest office in the land actually never won any of the elections that got him to the National Assembly. Like others, he is a beneficiary of the PDP’s phenomenal rigging machine. He is openly pretending not to eye the presidency in 2015 but, deep down, he won’t mind adding tenancy in Aso Rock to his personal legacy of rigged elections. In the meantime, David Mark has graduated from stealing elections to being lucky.

On Omawunmi:, Celebrating Pathological Philanderer as Governor and “Celebrities”

“Omawumi was handsomely settled to keep the name of her baby’s father a top secret. The reason is that the man is a sitting governor in one of the oil rich South South states and his wife is said to be very brutal; she “deals with ladies” who come close to her husband.

The Senator replied that Nigerians nationwide would match to a square like the Eagle Square or Tahrir Square (in Egypt) and would not disperse until the decision is reversed. Every pastor who collects tithes is nothing but “a thief and a robber.” Femi Aribisala

"As far as many pastors are concerned, the most important scripture of all is not to be found in the word of Jesus. Neither is it even in the New Testament. That scripture says: “‘Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and try me now in this,’ says the LORD of hosts, ‘If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.’” (Malachi 3:10).

This scripture is drummed repeatedly into Christians on Sundays. However, the only time Jesus mentioned tithing in scripture, he pointed out that it was not a weighty matter of the law. (Matthew 23:23). Hebrews says people only receive tithes “according to the law.” (Hebrews 7:5). It then insists tithing (and everything else under the law) has been annulled: “The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless.” (Hebrews 7:18-19). Nevertheless, mercenary pastors continue to insist on the payment of tithes."

“Despot” Lai Mohammed, Can we call Jonathan so? Like Abacha and others

"Despotism is a form of government in which a single entity rules with absolute power. That entity may be an individual, as in an autocracy, or it may be a group, as in an oligarchy. The word despotism means to "rule in the fashion of a despot" and does not necessarily require a singular "despot", an individual. Other words that can crop up on the mind when such terms are used includes Dictatorship, Enlightened despot, Oligarchy, Absolute monarchy, Tyranny"

The last time such word was heard was in the dark days of Military rule, where notorious power drunk fellows heated up the polity by misrule, some are dead others lived in the shame reminiscing with regret as they are rejected by Nigerians after stepping aside
