Boko Haram mocks Nigerian Military

“We call on you all to repent and come to the ways of Allah. Forget about constitution and accept Shariah. We don’t have socialism, we don’t know communism, we don’t want federalism, but we are Muslims.

Abubakar Shekau
Boko Haram has been outlawed and declared terrorists by the Nigerian government. The U.S. has also declared Mr. Shekau and other Boko Haram leaders wanted and placed a bounty on them.

The Leader of the sect Abubakar Shekau in a video spoke in Hausa amidst intermittent triumphant laughter, said the military lied about its victories over their sect. The claim by the sect that it is winning the battle against Nigerian soldiers differs significantly from that of the military which says it has killed and arrested hundreds of members of the sect and has dislodged a large number of its cells. The military has said it is winning the war against the insurgents.

A rare breed (Officer) amongst famous notorious Nigerian force

Good Police Officer and the Victim in Orange

Amongst the myriads of Notorious and greedy Nigerian Police, some exceptional corps are too good to be linked to the rottenness in the Nigerian mess, it is either they are unique by principle or by the fear of God, the latter seem tenable

A Police Police officer in this picture captioned above recovered huge sums from robbers on Friday in Abuja after a spontaneous chase on his power bike in a rare display of exemplary policing.

The Loot and the booty of Akpabio’s missing cash, Electrician the Valiant

Godswill Akpabio

The Last time I remembered a similar incident was about 13 Years ago in Delta state Government House where two stewards were accused by the then Governor James Ibori of stealing some hard currency that was meant to be ferried out to Zurich, the story of Delta never had this happy ending, One of the stewards died and the ADC was kept in Prison when hell was let loosed by the community where the late stewards who was tortured to death hailed from

One story i still remembered

Premium times gives an account of a similar loss of Foreign currency and the recovery of it by another Profligate spendthrift and governor of one of Nigerian states. Two stories on my mind,

“Sin-nators” who spat on Your daughters

"I am constrained to say that in the light of their "yes" vote to child marriage and their green light to pedophilia, every single member of the Nigerian Senate that voted with Yerima on that day and that supported his filthy agenda should bow their heads in utter shame and they should be compelled to offer their own infant and underage daughters to strangers for marriage.

Dame Patience, Our President’s Darling Wife- An Opinion By Reuben Abati In 2010

Ruben Abati before his price was paid wrote a column on Guardian condemning the recklessness of unelected Dame Patience Jonathan Thursday, 27th Aug 2010

"DEMOCRACY is readily associated with freedom: the freedom to be free in many respects and increasingly in Nigeria, many of our compatriots, particularly persons in positions of privilege and authority confuse this with the right to be disagreeable. The sober truth is that democracy is about rights and responsibilities, a democratic dispensation therefore cannot be a licence for disagreeable conduct as a norm; just as the possession of power in any form does not guarantee the right to be reckless or to ignore the etiquette required of office holders. Anyone in the corridors of power, either by chance or right, or appointment, is expected to behave decorously.

Pettiness and power play, Dame and Amaechi

Four years ago in Anyugubiri Okrika, Rivers state I appealed to him to engage my people in dialogue instead of demolishing a part of their community.

But the   “hot tempered,” governor  did not only ignore my advice,  he went  a step further  by  sacking the chairman of  the  local government for holding a reception in my honour. Can you imagine? Amaechi did not only stop at these, he also imposed a   curfew on the community, which is where i hail from, all my pleas with the governor to lift the curfew fell on deaf ears.
